We have been capturing key moments in the lives of families and individuals for many years and still get as much joy out of the images as our clients do. One key element to portrait photography is the ability to relate to people and convert what is considered an uncomfortable situation for some, into a pleasant experience with outstanding results. We assess each shoot individually and apply the right amount of informality and levity along with guidance and vision to achieve the end result. Sometimes this means allowing children to roam and shoot candid before asking them to participate in the desired pose or set. Other times this means getting a little silly to break the ice. Knowing how to interact with our subjects to get them to where they need to be and then being technically and creatively competent to capture at the right moment is the work of a professional portrait photographer and we gladly standup to the challenge!
On a recent assignment, we were thrilled when a mother from England contacted us via the Internet to photograph her with her two lovely teenage daughters while she was in 'the states'. When photographed two sets simultaneously while the make-up artist provided a fresh new look for each set. We were able to do a variety of sets: - Casual
