  I will not lie – I wasn’t too thrilled about the distance between Rich’s studio and my house. But when he offered to come to our local park and photograph my daughter on location, I was sold. That and the sample photography he showed me was superb.

  Not only is Rich a professional photographer who can make the colors of any scene jump off his pictures, he knows how to capture natural reactions - especially with kids. My daughter doesn’t warm up to people fast, and the way he lit her up without feeding her candy was amazing.

  Rich is personable, professional, and talented. This experience definitely beats the typical, run-of-the-mill, point-and-click photographers.

  Working with Rich was such a pleasure. He was willing to book us last-minute and appeased my concerns about lighting, photo quality, shadows, back drop - everything. 

  He was there with us every step of the way - literally - helping set up his professional lighting perfectly for the shoot, getting our own cameras matched to his lighting settings, offering constructive feedback on how to take various shots, making Photoshop and Lightroom edits while we were shooting, all while being pleasant and having a great sense of humor. TO top it all off, we left that day with a CD of all of the photos in hand!

  About five years ago I had my pictures taken. The man was a professional photographer, but it wasn’t just me he was taking pictures of but a group of health professionals like me.

  While they weren’t the greatest shots, I paid for them so it was an “I went ahead and used it kind of thing.”

  But recently I decided it was time for new pictures. While there weren’t that many commercial photographers to choose from, I found RWins Photography when I did an Internet search for commercial photographers in Asheville. They were actually the first photographer that came up on the search engine.

  One thing that made me choose them was they had their pricing up on their website. Then after I checked with a few others,

  I saw they had the best pricing by far.

  Another reason I chose them was when I emailed Rich Winslow, I had good response time as far as follow-ups through my emails and contacts.

  When we met, Rich was easy and fun to work with. He made me feel comfortable because he enjoyed what he was doing. And in the end, he got some really great shots. It was all beyond my expectations.

  When I got my pictures back, I did post some of them on my Facebook page and I got a lot of likes from people. And as far as my business, I’ve posted some of the pictures on my website and I like the way my website looks. It makes my website look more professional.

  So, there was really nothing that would have kept me from choosing RWins.
